Development of a methodological framework (methodology) with selection guidelines and action guidelines for inventory methods on establishing sustainable yields of wild growing CITES plants

This project aims to develop a methodology including guidelines for the selection of plant species and resource inventories based on which the calculations of sustainable harvest quantities will be made. ANSAB developed detailed profiles of eight CITES listed plant species of Nepal, and shared ANSAB’s approach on resource assessment of wild herbs that would help in developing methodological framework on inventory methods for use with wild-growing CITES appendix II plant species.
