The project aims to support the overall goal of the Forest Connect “to substantially reduce poverty for forest-dependent people in key partner countries by increasing the number of successful and sustainable small forest enterprise associations” by the achieving the following two objectives:

  • Initiate a national level association of producers’ group and community enterprises by expanding Nepal Herbs and Herbal Products Association (NEHHPA)’s institutional system and capability; and
  • Improve the collaboration and coordination between the supporting organizations and enhance their linkages with SMFEs and CFUGs.
